Roles and Responsibilities
Automation Excellence: Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test suites using Playwright with Javascript/Typescript and BrowserStack to ensure scalable, repeatable validation.
Cross‑Browser Consistency: Test EDS components across multiple browsers, devices, and screen resolutions to guarantee reliability and uniform user experiences.
Comprehensive Testing: Conduct functional, performance, memory, and accessibility testing to validate stability, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.
Design System Compliance: Verify adherence to design system standards and UX guidelines, ensuring components meet usability and accessibility benchmarks.
Collaborative Quality Assurance: Partner with cross‑functional teams to understand component behavior, align on requirements, and deliver high‑quality releases.
Issue Analysis & Resolution: Diagnose and troubleshoot UI rendering issues across different browsers, providing clear defect documentation and collaborating with developers for efficient fixes.
Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the evolution of testing processes, tools, and best practices to strengthen overall product quality and engineering efficiency.
Education Qualification
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with a minimum of 5+ years in Software Quality Assurance with over 3+ years specializing in automation engineering

Technical Stack
Mandatory: Expertise in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript with Playwright
Deep understanding of web components, DOM behavior, and browser rendering processes.
Good communicator with proven ability to collaborate in cross‑functional teams.
Skilled in accessibility testing using WCAG guidelines.
Experienced in validating applications across diverse browsers and screen resolutions.
Proficiency working in Agile environments and using Rally.
Exposure to CI/CD and test integration.
Experienced in testing design systems and reusable UI components
Preferred: Leverage of BrowserStack within CI/CD pipelines to execute automated tests across multiple browsers and devices, ensuring consistent quality and reliability.
Hands‑on testing expertise across Angular, React, Typescript and Vue.js frameworks
Work Schedule
This role requires working with leadership in the United States (Central Time). You must be willing to work flexible hours to ensure significant overlap with US leadership and stakeholders for strategic planning and reviews.
