A Test Manager plays a crucial role in software development projects by overseeing the testing process to ensure the quality and reliability of the software being developed. Test Manager’s role is multifaceted, involving strategic planning, team leadership, process management, quality assurance, and continuous improvement. They are essential in driving the testing efforts to deliver high-quality software products that meet stakeholder expectations and business requirements.

How will you make an impact?

  • This would be Senior individual Contributor position working closely with management stakeholders.
  • Creating and enforcing a testing plan, testing strategy and testing process
  • Creating and enforcing Defect Management process and Defect Triage process
  • Creating and enforcing various Test and Defect metrics
  • Well proficient in MS-Excel
  • Management– You will be responsible for managing, hiring, and training QA engineers as well as aligning resources as per business needs.
  • Communication– You will need to write reports and relay information to employees in person, and management on releases and risks. You will need to work with Project managers to ensure QA deliverables are on-time and identify any risk upfront. Track, report, and produce clear & concise status reports.
  • To guarantee that the testing is in line with the project’s goals and targets, Test Manager should collaborate closely with the developers, project managers, and business analysts and key client stakeholders.
  • Creative and Innovative Thinking– Find creative and innovative solutions for complex software and business issues and apply these solutions to resolve problems.
  • Interface independently with various R&D and PS Groups and with Customer Support.
  • Well versed with SDLC, Test Life Cycle and Defect Life cycle.
  • Ability to measure team and individual performance through standardized key performance indicators, and the ability to push the quality bar higher.
  • May occasionally need to work on client site and/or in different time zone.
  • Good experience in Product / Implementation testing is big plus.

Have you got what it takes?

  • BE / B.Tech with Practical relevant experience/knowledge
  • Proven experience in operating within a global environment.
  • Experience working in a complex matrix environment.
  • Good exposure to BSFI – A MUST
  • Knowledge of either of the domain –Capital Markets / Market Surveillance - A MUST
  • Well versed with writing of Test Plan, Test Strategy documents – A MUST
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work and understand technical solutions.
  • Financial / Capital market compliance domain experience is mandatory.   
  • Actimize (AIS/RCM/UDM) knowledge/testing experience will be an advantage.
  • Proven and Hands on experience in Testing, Test Management
  • Experience of working on cloud base product testing will be an advantage.
  • Analyzes information and deduces conclusions within the wider professional space.
  • Familiar with Testing techniques, Test Management and Automation tools
  • Should be Customer Centric, Client facing experience will be considered as a high
