As a Senior Technical Specialist, you will be a key member of the CSF 4LS department, taking on a role in addressing field-reported issues and customer deployments related to the CSF portfolio. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting complex, multi-component issues and collaborating with development teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions. This role requires a unique blend of technical depth and excellent communication skills to ensure timely resolution of customer-impacting problems and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities- Troubleshoot complex issues spanning multiple components, utilizing strong technical expertise.
- Collaborate closely with development teams for root cause analysis and effective problem-solving.
- Ensure timely resolution of customer-impacting problems, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders across different geographies and time zones.
Document and report on issue resolution processes, providing clear and concise updates.
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide timely support for critical issues as needed.
- Applies and maintains quality standards. Participates in process and tools evolutions and improvements.
- Applies the SW Care process (especially emergency case handling) contributing when needed to the fastest problem restoration.
Must Have:
- A Bachelor/Masters' degree with 9 years of experience with complex distributed systems/system software and strong coding fundamentals
- Excellent Linux knowledge with solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, HTTP, gRPC, proxies)
- Hands-on experience with containers and DevOps ecosystems (Docker, Kubernetes, IaC, automation toolchains)
- Strong focus on observability, troubleshooting, and performance optimization with a structured, automation-first approach
Good to Have:
- Experience in Ops side of DevOps within SaaS/CaaS environments and applications
- Familiarity with cloud-based managed services and virtualization platforms/private cloud infrastructure
- Exposure to open-source technologies with contributions being an added advantage
- Experience in enhancing deployment/upgrade automation and supporting analytics workloads, with strong communication skills
