UI /UX designer

We are looking for a talented and agile UI/UX Designer who will be contributing to redesign our existing product with “modern” customer-centric user interface and defining end-to-end experience for new products/initiatives, working collaboratively with other designers, product management, and engineering team.

Core Responsibilities:

• User Research and Analysis: Conduct User Research to understand user needs, behaviours, and pain points. Create user personas, user journeys, and empathy maps. Analyze competitor and industry trends.
• Wire framing and prototypingDesign wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.Proficient with using Figma. Ensure designs are aligned with user needs and business goals.
• Visual Design : Create visually appealing and consistent interfaces. Apply principles of typography, color theory, and layout design. Develop design systems and style guides. Ensure designs are responsive and work across multiple devices (desktop, tablet, mobile).Follow accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) to make products inclusive. Nice to have: experience with icon design, illustration design and animations.
• Usability testing Conduct usability testing to gather feedback and iterate on designs. Analyze user feedback and metrics to improve the user experience.
• Collaboration : Work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders. Willingness to learn the technical constraints of implementing certain designs. Communicate design ideas effectively through presentations and documentation. Test design implementation and raise with development and testing teams the possible issues.
• VisionObsessed with building great products and design contextual interaction with respect to Aera Technology core platform and insights into the data. Understanding current technology and design trends. Super focus on AI driven products and how they will change products. Being able to think outside the box and envision the future data driven products.

Nice to have

• 3-5+ years of professional experience.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, including information architecture and interaction design.
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to drive projects. Proactive and have accountability.
• Excellent presentation skills and comfortable with justification for the design decisions you made.
• Fluent English speaker (understanding, speaking and writing).
