Job Summary We are seeking a ServiceNow ITAM Developer with deep expertise in Software Asset Management Pro (SAM Pro). The ideal candidate will focus on advanced scripting, workflow automation, third-party discovery integrations, and optimizing backend reconciliation engines.
Key Responsibilities

Write and maintain complex Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, and UI Actions within the SAM application.

Design and implement automated software request and reclamation workflows using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.

Create Service Catalog items for software requests with complex client-side validations.

Configure and troubleshoot ServiceNow Discovery, SCCM, JAMF, and third-party inventory integrations.

Build REST/SOAP integrations to connect ServiceNow with external publisher portals and procurement systems.

Optimize background jobs, reconciliation engines, and scheduled scripts; support platform upgrades.
Requirements
-
5+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development with a focus on ITAM/SAM.

High proficiency in JavaScript and the ServiceNow API framework.

Deep technical understanding of SAM Pro data models, Software Installation tables, Discovery Models, and Software Models.

Strong experience with SQL, XML, JSON, and IntegrationHub steps.

Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
Preferred Qualifications

Certified Implementation Specialist – Software Asset Management (CIS-SAM).

ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
