Summary
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow SAM Lead Developer to drive the strategic implementation and optimization of Software Asset Management (SAM) and Application Portfolio Management (APM) solutions. In this pivotal role, you will architect and execute complex workflows, ensuring strict adherence to compliance standards while managing the entire software asset lifecycle. Your expertise will be instrumental in aligning IT asset management strategies with organizational goals, enhancing operational efficiency, and providing actionable insights through advanced reporting and dashboarding capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain sophisticated Flow Designer processes and automated workflows to streamline SAM operations.
- Engineer robust integrations utilizing REST and SOAP APIs, leveraging IntegrationHub and the MID Server for seamless data exchange.
- Generate comprehensive compliance reports and interactive dashboards to monitor software usage and licensing status.
- Define and manage CMDB relationships to ensure accurate tracking of IT assets and their interdependencies.
- Configure and optimize ServiceNow SAM Pro and APM modules to support effective software license management and reconciliation.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of software assets, from procurement and deployment to retirement, ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements:
- Possess 8 to 12 years of professional experience within the IT Services sector, with a strong focus on ServiceNow development.
- Demonstrate deep proficiency in Flow Designer, workflow automation, and API integration patterns (REST/SOAP).
- Show hands-on experience with IntegrationHub, MID Server configurations, and ServiceNow SAM Pro/APM functionalities.
- Exhibit a solid understanding of Software Asset Lifecycle Management, license compliance, and reconciliation processes.
- Be skilled in creating detailed compliance reports, dashboards, and managing CMDB data structures for IT Asset Management.
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of industry standards for software asset governance and regulatory requirements.
