Summary:

To design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Provar, ensuring robust quality assurance for Salesforce or other integrated applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze requirements and design automation strategies tailored to Salesforce and integrated applications.
  • Develop test plans, test cases, and automation scripts using Provar.
  • Define the scope of automation and identify test scenarios for end-to-end, functional, and regression testing.
  • Build, maintain, and execute reusable and efficient test scripts in Provar.
  • Validate Salesforce workflows, configurations, APIs, and data integrations through automated testing.
  • Debug and troubleshoot test scripts to improve reliability and performance.
  • Configure Provar tests with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitLab for continuous testing.
  • Ensure automated tests run seamlessly in different environments (e.g., UAT, staging, production).
  • Work closely with developers, business analysts, and manual testers to identify test scenarios and clarify requirements.
  • Collaborate with QA and development teams to resolve issues and implement fixes efficiently.Identify and document defects discovered during automation.
  • Work with developers to validate fixes through retesting.
  • Generate detailed test execution and coverage reports for stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation for automation frameworks, scripts, and test results.

Skills:

  • Overall 7+ years of experience in Provar automation testing 
  • In-depth knowledge of Provar automation tool functionalities.
  • Experience in creating and executing automated test scripts for Salesforce applications.
  • Ability to design reusable and modularized test cases in Provar.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, including Salesforce Classic and Lightning.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce components like custom objects, workflows, validation rules, and process builders.
  • Proficiency in automation testing concepts, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Ability to perform end-to-end, functional, regression, and integration testing.
  • Experience in testing APIs and Salesforce integrations.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab for integrating automated tests into pipelines.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git for managing test scripts.
  • Knowledge of programming languages Java.
  • Exposure to selenium automation tools. 
  • Basic understanding of database query languages like SOQL or SQL for data validation.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency with test management tools like JIRA.
  • Solid knowledge of defect lifecycle management and bug tracking processes.
  • Ability to analyze and debug issues in test scripts or Provar frameworks.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting environment or configuration issues in Provar.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, and QA teams.
  • Strong analytical skills to design test cases based on complex requirements.
  • Attention to detail to ensure thorough testing and high-quality deliverables.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields (preferred).

Certifications:

  • Salesforce administrator certification
