Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Oracle CC&B Conversion Developer to lead the design, development, and execution of data conversion solutions for Oracle Customer Care & Billing (CC&B) systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle CC&B, strong technical skills in data migration, and hands-on experience in designing and developing custom conversion tools and scripts for successful data transfer from legacy systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
-Design and develop data conversion solutions for Oracle CC&B implementations, ensuring a seamless migration of data from legacy systems to Oracle CC&B.
-Work closely with business analysts, project managers, and other technical teams to understand data requirements and create detailed data mapping and transformation specifications.
-Develop and implement custom ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools to support the migration of customer, billing, metering, and other relevant data into Oracle CC&B.
-Create conversion scripts, batch processes, and data validation routines to ensure the accurate transfer of data between systems.
-Conduct data quality analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring the integrity of converted data.
-Design and develop data validation and reconciliation processes to ensure post-conversion data matches the source system.
-Perform unit testing and assist with system and user acceptance testing (UAT) to verify conversion results and ensure data accuracy.
-Collaborate with functional teams to ensure that conversion processes align with business requirements and CC&B system configurations.
-Lead the migration of large volumes of data while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations during the conversion process.
-Strong experience in Oracle CC&B, with a deep understanding of its data model, architecture, and key modules such as customer management, billing, metering, and collections.
-Expertise in designing and developing data conversion solutions, including custom ETL processes, conversion scripts, and data validation procedures.
Professional & Technical Skills:
-Experience with data migration tools, including third-party ETL tools, as well as Oracle Utilities' native conversion tools.
-Strong knowledge of CC&B data migration best practices and strategies, including mapping, data cleansing, and reconciliation.
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex data migration issues.
-Experience working in cross-functional teams to ensure smooth collaboration and successful project delivery.
-Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively document and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
-Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle CC&B Conversion Developer.
-Minimum 15 years of full-time education Degree in Engineering will be a plus
-This position is based at our Bangalore office.
