Overview
The Mastercard Payment Networks team is looking for a Software Development Engineer to drive our customer experience strategy forward by consistently innovating and problem-solving. The ideal candidate is passionate about the customer experience journey, highly motivated, intellectually curious, analytical, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

All About You• 6 months to 1 year of overall career experience into Software Engineering in Java Full Stack• Passion for software engineering with foundational Full Stack or Backend development skills.• Good understanding of Java and Spring Boot fundamentals.• Basic awareness of microservices and event-driven architecture concepts.• Exposure to real-time or online systems development is an advantage.• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and version control tools.• Knowledge of databases (RDBMS and/or NoSQL such as Cassandra).• Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., PCF) and digital-native architectures is desirable.• Strong learning ability with a mindset to quickly grasp and apply new technologies.• Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.• Positive attitude towards continuous learning and improvement.
