Software Engineer I

Overview:
The GBSC Automation & Engineering team consists of innovative professionals with deep technical expertise and strong business acumen. We play a crucial role in managing and enhancing GBSC-owned applications, providing technical support, and delivering custom solutions to drive key initiatives.
As the primary infrastructure team, we focus on managing and optimizing infrastructure while providing guidance and support for development. We ensure seamless integration, performance, and scalability through advanced engineering practices and automation solutions.
Role & Responsibilities:
• Support Automation & Engineering projects and initiatives within GBSC.
• Support Alteryx admin-related activities, including code deployment, user management, platform maintenance, system integrations, server optimization, and implementation of technology best practices.
• Monitor, manage, and troubleshoot Alteryx system to ensure smooth functionality and provide timely user support.
• Collaborate on tasks such as testing system connectivity, upgrading applications/systems, and related infrastructure activities.
• Drive continuous improvements to enhance infrastructure resilience and operational efficiency.
• Partner with the analytics development team to resolve production issues and optimize system performance.
• Monitor and manage vulnerabilities for all application servers to ensure security and compliance.
All About You:
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build professional relationships, influence stakeholders, and negotiate effectively.
• Experience in infrastructure management and system administration.
• Knowledge of Alteryx and reporting/analytics tools like Tableau or Power BI.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
