Software Engineer II

What's the role? You are a software engineer with hands‑on experience in designing and developing backend and/or full‑stack applications using modern programming languages and frameworks. You bring a strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles, along with experience working in cloud‑based or distributed systems.

•  Solid coding skills in Java / Scala / Python, with the ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code
• Contribute to the design and development of new features, enhancements, and product improvements
• Hands-on experience building and deploying applications or services on a public cloud (AWS preferred)
• Ability to clearly communicate technical concepts through documentation, discussions and code reviews
• Collaborate effectively with product managers, senior engineers, and globally distributed team members
• Demonstrate curiosity, willingness to learn and a mindset focused on continuous improvement
• Work effectively in an agile, collaborative environment with a strong focus on delivering incremental value
• Follow engineering best practices and raise suggestions for improvements in performance, quality and maintainability
• Take ownership of assigned tasks while seeking guidance proactively when needed

Good to have AI skills

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot)
• Basic prompting skills for generating code, tests, and documentation
