Job Description
PTC is seeking a hands-on Java Engineer to design and build secure, scalable components of Windchill, working with a global engineering team on our SaaS platform.
Responsibilities- Develop and maintain secure, high-quality server-side features.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
- Drive automation and continuous improvement.
- Communicate design decisions, impacts, and trade-offs.
- Stay current with relevant Java and Windchill technologies.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in CS/IT or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of Java, J2EE, SQL, and server-side development.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong in clean coding, unit testing, and debugging.
- Experience with CI/CD and Git.
- Self-driven, analytical, and detail oriented.
- Strong ownership and ability to complete tasks independently.
- Quick learner with a proactive mindset.
- Collaborative and effective across multi-site teams.
