How will you make an impact?
- Design and implement comprehensive Test Automation strategies, ensuring robust testing frameworks and methodologies with existing toolset as well as research, evaluation, and deployment of new test tools.
- Design and develop modular and reusable automated testing tools and frameworks tailored for applications including continuous enhancements, maintenance and upkeep.
- As a Quality Advisor or Champion, stay updated with the latest advancements in automation technologies, tools; assess and integrate them into the testing processes.
- As a custodian for all quality & automation processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams, developers, and product managers, to define and implement quality & automation standards.
- Estimate detailed budgets for various environments, develop and maintain a planning model that estimates the ROI of test automation. Track and report automation ROI.
- Understand gaps in requirement analysis and test design process, conduct thorough code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards for test automation and automation frameworks.
- Mentor and guide automation engineers across the global organization, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Conduct quality audits and recommend improvements.
- Contribute to planning and managing of test environments.
- Be an integral part of Customer Found Bugs analysis process.
- Chaos Engineering related activities
Have you got what it takes?
- 14+ years of work experience.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Automation Architect
- Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining automated testing tools and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with UI and API Automation, BDD, Chaos and Performance Testing using versatile tech stack such as Playwright, Selenium, Java, C#.NET, RestAssured, Kafka/Kinesis, JMeter, etc.
- Experience with evaluation and adoption of best suitable tools for test Automation, chaos testing, performance testing etc.
- Have designed and architected modular and reusable automated testing solutions that satisfy product and component requirements following design principles for Automation and Performance Testing
- Deep knowledge about designing and maintaining test Automation frameworks.
- Experience with complete TDLC on cloud platform.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices with exposure to tech stack such as K8S, Docker, Jenkins, etc.
- Fluent communication and influencing skills.
- Adept at technical presentations, proposals, ROI analysis and stakeholder management.
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- Knowledge of security scans, static analysis tools such as SonarQube, BlackDuck Hub, Veracode, etc.
- Experience with AWS.
