Specialist, Talent Acquisition
Overview
Talent Acquisition team in Mastercard works on delivering high calibre talent for the fast paced and innovative demands to develop cutting edge tools in Fintech space.
Role
• Develops sourcing strategies through detailed market research and data mining, using resources such as LinkedIn or social media pertaining to prospective candidates• Executes marketing and branding talent acquisition strategies (e.g. timed social media postings, segmentation driven visuals), and collaborates with Communications to achieve designated objectives• Conducts initial outreach to and screening of prospective internal and external candidates and serves as the direct point of contact for the prospective candidate up until their candidacy is confirmed• May coordinate phases of the talent acquisition process for assigned talent pipeline and evaluates team recommendations of candidates• Follows talent acquisition specific processes and systems• Monitors progress against quarterly goals for time-to-fill, cost per hire, channel mix, diverse candidate slates and candidate pipelines
All About You
• Strong background in Talent Acquisition in managing high volume recruitment efforts preferably from Fintech company• Strong people management skills, should have worked in sourcing model• Ability to work as an individual contributor with the help of sourcing and interview coordinating team• Extensive experience in building sourcing strategies including direct sourcing, agency usage, etc• Experience managing high volume recruiting processes• Experience managing candidate life cycle through an applicant tracking system, preferably Workday• In-depth understanding of technology landscape and hiring trends in India• Strong background in IT hiring, preferably in Java and related technologies• Experience implementing talent acquisition programs/processes including candidate screening, assessment and selection in a fast-paced, high volume and matrixed environment • Track record delivering hiring results that meet business needs and expectations • Develop recruitment sourcing strategy including direct sourcing, agency usage, campus programs, etc.• Manage vendor relationships to support high volume recruiting efforts• Build partnerships with the leadership team to identify important talent needs and develop creative strategies to attract and assess talent• Ensure accurate records and reporting concerning all phases of the recruitment process
