Salesforce Developer | Apex, Lightning Web Components, API Integrations, and Platform Configuration
Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a highly experienced Salesforce Developer to lead the development, integration, and configuration of Salesforce solutions. This role involves designing and implementing scalable features, automations, and integrations aligned with business objectives. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality, secure, and efficient Salesforce environments that support client needs and organizational growth.
Software Requirements
Required:
Proficiency in Salesforce Apex coding and Lightning components (Aura and Lightning Web Components - LWC)
Extensive experience with Salesforce core platform configuration, including schemas, data models, validation, workflows, and security settings
Knowledge of REST/SOAP API integration for data exchange between Salesforce and external systems
Experience with version control systems, especially GIT, for code management
Familiarity with declarative development tools like Process Builder, Flow, and Schema Builder
Preferred:
Experience working with Tableau or Salesforce CRM solutions in enterprise environments
Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud or TCRM solutions
Familiarity with DevOps practices for Salesforce, including deployment automation
Overall Responsibilities
Design, develop, and deploy scalable Salesforce solutions including custom objects, automation, and integrations to meet business requirements
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and development tasks
Write, test, and deploy Apex classes, Lightning components, and triggers following best practices
Conduct code reviews, documentation, and testing to ensure maintainability and high quality standards
Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshoot issues proactively in Salesforce environments
Stay updated on Salesforce platform enhancements and recommend process improvements
Mentor junior team members and promote best practices within the team
Technical Skills (By Category)
Programming Languages:
Required: Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript
Preferred: Java, Python for ancillary integrations or automation purposes
Databases/Data Management:
Salesforce Data Model, Data Loader, Excel/CSV data manipulation, understanding of schema design and data security
Cloud Technologies:
Salesforce Lightning Platform, integration with external cloud services (AWS, Azure) is a plus
Frameworks and Libraries:
Salesforce Lightning Web Components, Aura Components, REST/SOAP APIs, Visualforce (if applicable)
Development Tools and Methodologies:
Salesforce Developer Console, VSCode with Salesforce Extensions, GIT version control, Agile/Scrum, CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Bitbucket)
Security Protocols:
Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, org-wide defaults), OAuth, encryption standards
Experience Requirements
Minimum 8 years of Salesforce development experience, including Apex coding, Lightning Components, and platform configuration
Proven experience with integration of Salesforce with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs
Experience in designing scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions in enterprise environments
Prior experience in client-facing roles, gathering requirements, and delivering customized Salesforce solutions
Industry experience in common domains like finance, wealth management, or enterprise SaaS is a plus
Day-to-Day Activities
Develop and customize Salesforce features based on business requirements, including Apex classes, Lightning Web Components, and automation tools
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, document technical specifications, and provide solution design options
Conduct code reviews, testing, and deployment in sandbox and production environments
Troubleshoot system issues and optimize Salesforce performance and security
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and review meetings
Maintain technical documentation and best practice guidelines for development and integration activities
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Salesforce specific certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I & II, Salesforce Admin) are preferred, but experience is primary
Demonstrated track record in delivering complex Salesforce projects in large organizations
Commitment to ongoing professional development in Salesforce technologies and related fields
