Slipstream LS is looking for an Integration Developer to design, build, test, and support enterprise integrations across internal and client-facing business systems. This role requires hands-on experience in MuleSoft and strong working knowledge of at least one other iPaaS/integration platform such as SnapLogic, Workato, or Boomi, with focus on APIs, data transformation, workflow automation, security, and support for scalable integration solutions.
Role Summary
The Integration Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining APIs and integration flows between enterprise applications, cloud platforms, databases, and third-party tools. The role also involves working with business and technical stakeholders, implementing testing and monitoring, and following integration best practices for performance, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain integration solutions using MuleSoft and at least one of SnapLogic, Workato, or Boomi.
- Build and manage REST and SOAP APIs, reusable integration components, and system interfaces across multiple enterprise applications.
- Develop data mappings and transformations for JSON, XML, flat files, and other structured formats using platform-native transformation capabilities such as DataWeave.
- Collaborate with business analysts, application owners, architects, and external partners to gather requirements and deliver integration solutions aligned with business needs.
- Configure and implement API security, authentication, authorization, certificates, HTTPS, TLS, OAuth2, and related governance controls.careers.
- Create unit tests, integration tests, and support automated testing to ensure high-quality and reliable deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues, analyze logs, resolve defects, and optimize integration performance and stability.
- Support CI/CD, version control, documentation, code reviews, and release management for integration services.
- Monitor APIs and integration jobs, implement logging and observability, and ensure adherence to support and SLA expectations.
- Follow best practices for API-led connectivity, error handling, reusability, and scalable integration architecture.
Required Skills and Experience
- 4 to 8 years of overall experience in application/integration development, with strong hands-on expertise in MuleSoft.
- Experience in at least one additional integration platform: SnapLogic, Workato, or Boomi.
- Strong understanding of API development, web services, REST, SOAP, and integration design patterns.
- Hands-on experience with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, API Manager, Runtime Manager, and CloudHub or equivalent deployment environments.
- Experience in data transformation, routing, orchestration, error handling, and reusable integration components.
- Knowledge of security and governance standards including OAuth2, TLS/SSL, certificates, and access control.
- Familiarity with Git, Maven, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile delivery methodology.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to healthcare, life sciences, pharma, or regulated industry environments.
- Experience integrating HR, CRM, ERP, finance, ATS, or workflow platforms.
- MuleSoft certification is a plus.
- Experience with event-driven integrations, monitoring tools, and production support models is preferred.
