What Supervisor Pricing Support contributes to Cardinal Health

The Pricing Supervisor will support day‑to‑day team management and ensure the ongoing integrity of pricing data. In this role, you will provide coaching and leadership to team members, oversee performance and professional development, and support the resolution of escalations. You will also play a key role in defining and implementing process and system improvement initiatives.

This position requires a leader who is passionate about developing and mentoring others, with strong attention to detail, strong time‑management skills, and a customer‑centric mindset. You thrive in a project‑based environment, have a natural curiosity for data, and are confident in reviewing, interpreting, and communicating insights. Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • With a minimum of 4+ years of experience in a pricing role, preferred
  • Supervisor - Experience in team lead or mentorship role is required
  • Strong analytical abilities and proficiency in working with large subsets of data
  • Demonstrate knowledge of pricing processes
  • Works well in MS Office with a strong focus in Excel
  • Experience in SAP an asset
  • Communicates clearly and effectively (written and verbal)
  • Ability to solve problems and identify solutions
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently and in a team setting to meet demanding deadlines
  • Ability to work in a high pressure, supportive and fun environment
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage priorities and diverse tasks
  • Ability to lead and influence others
  • Proven time management and organizational skills to support meeting deadlines and ensuring the team and stakeholders adhere to their deadlines

  • Lead and manage the team to achieve departmental objectives, including planning, prioritizing, and evaluating day‑to‑day activities to ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Set clear job expectations and drive performance through ongoing coaching, feedback, performance management, and development of team members.
  • Maintain full ownership of team performance, including throughput, accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of all outputs.
  • Foster a trusting, transparent, and psychologically safe team environment where issues can be raised constructively.
  • Facilitate effective discussions, support informed decision‑making, and resolve conflicts when needed.
  • Oversee data management and reporting for all pricing activities; ensure data accuracy, consistency, and availability for business use.
  • Participate in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of policies, procedures, and productivity standards.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional partners across Sales, Customer Care, Finance, Contracts, Marketing, and external stakeholders including customers and suppliers.
  • Identify and remove barriers that impede team progress; guide the team in adopting efficient ways of working.
  • Drive clear and consistent internal and external communication, promoting transparency and timely information flow.
  • Partner with outsourced Pricing operations to ensure all SLAs, targets, and deliverables are met; support audits and validation as required.
  • Support the resolution of internal and external customer inquiries, escalations, and pricing‑related issues.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute pricing updates within the ERP system as required.
  • Train, mentor, and support new and existing team members; serve as the escalation point for complex issues.
  • Represent the Pricing team in key projects, initiatives, and cross‑functional working groups.
  • Develop and implement standardized supplier price validation and audit processes.
  • Act as the escalation owner for recurring or high‑impact customer pricing disputes.
  • Analyze pricing dispute trends by customer, supplier, product, and process to identify systemic issues.
  • Recommend and drive corrective actions to prevent repeat pricing discrepancies and improve overall pricing accuracy.
