SWQA Tools Development Engineer

We are seeking a qualified SWQA Tools Development Engineer to join our Certification team. You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers tackling some of the most complex challenges in cutting-edge technology. Mentored by the best minds in the industry, you will have the opportunity to make meaningful contributions to exciting and impactful projects. Immediate focus will be to come up to speed on testing and existing A&T for the various cert programs the team covers which include HLK, HDMI, DP, ESXi, and Google xTS, and start contributing to new solutions to help improve productivity, tracking, and efficiency.

What you'll be doing:

• Utilizing various Certification Kits, you will test all software/hardware features of our products to ensure cert level quality at all stages of the development cycle from emulation to production. This involves a wide variety of functional categories (Graphics, Display, Audio, Multimedia, USB, Hypervisors, Virtual Machines etc).

• Achieve thorough understanding in all functional and process related areas of the Hardware and Functional Certification ecosystem.

• You will actively work with existing UI and automation tools by integrating external/internal APIs, use AI/ML algorithms to optimize them and to also develop new automated solutions.

• Communicate accurate, timely, and effective status to management and other key internal/external partners.

• You will drive operational excellence by defining and improving processes, while leveraging innovative problem-solving to increase organizational efficiency and meet strategic goals.

• Represent the team in meetings internally (release planning, bug scrubs, project status etc.) and externally (cert authorities/partners).

• Engage with the software development teams when reporting Certification bugs and offer key debugging info and data points to assist in driving bugs to closure in a timely manner.

• Become a champion of quality for any NVIDIA product that you touch and proliferate that same spirit across the team and cross functional Orgs.

What we need to see:

• Engineering Graduate in Computer Science/ IT/ ECE with strong academics.

• 3+ Years of total experience with excellent programming skills in Python and C# and able to write logical scripts/codes from scratch.

• Demonstrated ability to design, build, and deploy AI/ML models or automation systems in real-world projects, either independently or as part of a team.

• Working experience with .NET core, SQL (Persistent data storage and queries) and version control tools like GitHub/Perforce.

• Exposure to Linux and advance scripts/commands.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Able to juggle conflicting/changing priorities and maintain a positive attitude while experiencing challenging and dynamic schedules.

• Ability to work with geographically dispersed team and attend reviews/meetings to assist in maintaining alignment.

• Excellent Communication skills.
