Job Overview  

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Team Leader – International Travel to lead and manage a team of Travel Specialists while ensuring an exceptional customer experience and smooth travel operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership abilities, in-depth destination and tour package knowledge, excellent customer-handling skills, and the ability to drive team performance effectively.

The Team Leader will be responsible for monitoring team productivity, identifying critical operational gaps, supporting team members in issue resolution, and ensuring all customer requirements are addressed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities  

• Lead, manage, mentor, and motivate a team of Travel Specialists
  

• Ensure smooth daily operations and proper handling of travel inquiries and bookings
  

• Monitor team performance, productivity, pending tasks, and overall deliverables
  

• Set operational parameters and ensure work completion within timelines
  

• Identify critical areas where the team requires support and provide timely guidance
  

• Handle escalations, customer concerns, and operational challenges effectively
  

• Ensure customers receive prompt resolutions and exceptional service experience
  

• Coordinate with customers through calls and discussions whenever required
  

• Guide the team with destination knowledge, travel products, and best industry practices
  

• Possess strong knowledge of international tour packages and global destinations
  

• Coordinate and maintain effective communication with vendors, suppliers, and DMCs
  

• Support the team in handling complex client requirements and customized itineraries (FITS)
  

• Ensure proper follow-up, closure, and service quality standards are maintained
  

• Train and onboard new team members effectively
  

• Maintain a result-oriented and customer-focused work environment
  

Required Skills & Qualifications  

• Proven experience in the international travel industry
  

• Strong knowledge of international destinations, tour packages, and travel products
  

• Excellent leadership and team management skills
  

• Strong understanding of vendor coordination and customer servicing
  

• Expertise in itinerary planning and customized FITS handling
  

• Ability to analyze team performance and manage operational workflows
  

• Strong communication, problem-solving, and client-handling abilities
  

• Ability to work in a target-driven and fast-paced environment
  

• Customer-centric mindset with strong attention to detail
