Your Role:
The Technical Product Management (TPM) Lead owns the product backlog. They are responsible for turning high level market requirements into actionable stories for development teams to implement and ensuring features delivered meet customer needs.
Your Impact:
The TPM Lead plays a crucial role in delivering great product by providing vision and direction to the engineering teams. They are responsible for being the point of contact between engineering, the business, and the market. A successful TPM Lead makes the difference between functional software and products that delight our customers.
Your Team:
You will be part of a team of Technical Product Managers working alongside engineering and product management to support the Kepware product line. The team’s area of expertise is primarily industrial connectivity with some overlap to IoT platforms and cloud computing.
Your Day-to-Day:

The TPM Lead will attend team meetings including planning, daily standups, and reviews, and provide teams with the vision and direction they need to maximize business value. Status, impediments, and risks will be discussed with business stakeholders and resolved to keep the development pipeline moving. Activities will include: 1. Help define PTC’s future direction, working alongside Product Management in creating and prioritizing future projects and strategy. 2. Guide the Scrum Team, owning the development of Epics, Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and the Product Vision/MVP gathered from internal and external feedback. 3. Help the Scrum Team deliver business value by owning prioritization of the backlog, ensuring the team understands and works on items with the highest business value. 4. Work with the Scrum Team to plan each sprint, setting clear and attainable sprint goals agreed on by the team. Provide rapid
feedback to the Scrum Team, validating the work completed each sprint. 5. Coordinate release activities for your products, ensuring all business and engineering deliverables are on track for a successful launch.
