Builds automated test suites with Playwright and TypeScript, validates backend data using SQL, performs API testing, manages defects in JIRA or Azure DevOps, and supports Agile test planning, risk assessment, and release sign-off. Uses AI productivity tools to improve testing efficiency.
Key Responsibilities • Analyse requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and test data. • Execute functional, integration, regression, system, smoke, sanity, exploratory, and end-to-end testing. • Perform UI, API, and database validation to ensure application quality. • Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright with TypeScript. • Conduct API testing using Postman, Swagger, REST Assured, or equivalent tools. • Write SQL queries to validate backend data, transformations, and business rules. • Log, track, and verify defects using JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. • Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with developers, product owners, and DevOps teams. • Support test planning, estimation, risk assessment, and release sign-off. • Utilize AI tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, and Cursor to improve testing efficiency and productivity.
