Director of Corporate Communications, Pune
Who You’ll Work With:
The Director of Corporate Communications, Pune, reports to the Chief Talent and Communications Officer and is responsible for supporting our global and local corporate communications strategy in India. They will partner with AB’s global Corporate Communications team and regional leaders and stakeholders to ensure the firm’s global employee audience receives a balance of local and global communications.
What You’ll Do:
The Director of Corporate Communications will serve as the key internal communications resource for AB India. This individual will use a regional lens to both amplify enterprise-level messaging in India and elevate regional stories and updates on our global communications channels. The role will also support local media relations opportunities to elevate AB’s brand in India, in alignment with global business strategies.
Responsibilities include:
- Advance the corporate communications team’s strategy in India to produce high-impact informational and educational materials for internal audiences, leveraging multiple delivery channels.
- Develop internal communications content that showcases India and highlights AllianceBernstein’s global, connected culture.
- Ensure a consistent voice and tone is applied to all internal communications India employees
- Manage cross-departmental communications projects with teams of internal stakeholders.
- Run local Town Hall events, coordinating event logistics and Q&A.
- Support internal channels, including AB’s intranet, digital signage, and local newsletters.
- Support in developing strategies and executing proactive media (PR and social) strategies for AB’s India presence.
- Collaborate closely with our Global Media Relations Team to track and benchmark press impressions, while proactively identifying opportunities to improve media coverage across strategic business units.
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 10 years of related experience.
- Exceptional written communication skills with the ability to craft and refine a broad range of communications materials, including intranet articles, newsletters, executive communications, etc.
- Experience communicating to a broad employee population.
- Familiarity with communication tools and platforms, including intranet software and Slack preferred.
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to be a flexible, proactive, creative problem-solver and self-starter.
- Ability to effectively collaborate with coworkers and subject matter experts in a matrixed environment.
- Ability to build relationships both in-person and virtually.
- Strong project management skills, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in either in-house or agency media relations.
- Experience with media monitoring tools and software, and familiarity with data visualization tools.
- Understanding of the media landscape and trends in the financial market.
