About the Role:
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Sr.Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our web team. As a Sr. QA Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality, usability, and overall quality of our marketing websites. You will collaborate closely with developers, designers, and project managers to identify, document, and resolve issues - ultimately delivering an exceptional user experience to our customers.
What You’ll Do:
Perform thorough testing of marketing websites across various browsers, devices, and screen sizes to ensure compatibility and responsiveness.
Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on project requirements and specifications.
Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using issue tracking systems (e.g., Workfront, Jira) and ensure timely resolution.
Conduct regression testing to verify that defects have been fixed and that no new issues have been introduced.
Proactively review our website on a weekly basis for new and unexpected issues and discrepancies.
Perform usability testing to evaluate the effectiveness and intuitiveness of user interfaces and provide recommendations for enhancements.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, trends, and emerging technologies related to web development and quality assurance.
Assist in the ongoing development and maintenance of QA documentation, including test plans, test cases, and release notes, as well as process improvements.
What you’ll Need:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
5-7 years of strong experience in quality assurance for web development and web design projects.
Strong understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HTTP protocols.
Experience with QA methodologies, tools, and processes, including test planning, test case development, and defect tracking.
Experience with AEM is a must.
Proficiency in using QA tools such as Browserstack, or similar automated testing frameworks.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate issues clearly and concisely.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, with a focus on achieving collective goals.
Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing priorities and deadlines.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Location: Pune, India
Shift: Rotational : 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST or 6.30 PM to 3.30 AM IST)
