Performs complex financial accounting, reporting, sub-ledger accounting, and financial analysis. Ensures compliance with accounting standards, regulations, SOX controls, and reporting requirements. Reviews accounting treatment, supports audits, resolves issues, recommends process improvements, assesses control effectiveness, and partners with internal business stakeholders and auditors.

Provide second-line oversight of Mastercard Europes operational risk and controls across technology and non-technology domains. Lead application of ORC/ERM frameworks, oversee RCSAs, review control design and testing, monitor remediation, support regulatory engagements, produce management reporting, and ensure risk data and documentation meet regulatory and governance standards.

Manages statutory reporting and external audit support for Mastercard entities worldwide. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, reconciling US GAAP with local frameworks and IFRS, supporting year-end accounting and SOX compliance, improving controls, resolving audit issues, coordinating with controllership and shared-services teams, and managing relationships with auditors, consultants, and external providers.

Manage accounting for rebates and incentives including revenue recognition, expense recording, monthly close, financial statement preparation, reconciliations, compliance with SEC and U.S. GAAP, policy development, controls, and audit support across regions and business units.
