The Business Analyst will collaborate with Sales, Operations, and Finance to develop data-driven solutions, automate reports, and support BI initiatives while enhancing Salesforce functionality.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with Sales/Operations/Finance managers to understand business requirements and work on solutions with data and insights support for better impact decisions
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions.
- Automate existing/new data templates and reports
- Liaison with finance and accounting teams to understand business problem and develop a suitable BI and automation solutions.
- Contribute to the creation and measurement to an overall roadmap, project plans, timelines, and priorities for the BI Dev function.
- Develop, analyze, and report business unit metrics and drive Best of Breed benchmarking.
- Define and document processes and procedures.
- Follow standards and procedures to comply with government regulations and internal controls.
- Respond to and share information related to highly complex queries received from the business.
- Regularly interact and provide recommendations to management.
- Be the custodian of effective lead, opportunity and account management and lead utilization by the Sales and Marketing teams and deep dive to determine areas of improvement for the respective teams to focus on
- Proactively identify and implement operational and technical improvements and enhancements that drive sales productivity and improve customer experience
- Handle multiple projects at once, be able to effectively prioritize initiatives, and effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders.
- Focus on strategic, tactical and technical initiatives involving Salesforce.com
- Provide administration support of Salesforce.com including but not limited to managing customization of objects, fields, record types, page layouts and validations, and dashboards for daily, weekly, monthly performance and reporting at individual, team, manager, and enterprise levels
- Focus on user efficiencies, solving business/customer issues, invent creative solutions, and ensure data accuracy across the Salesforce system.
Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree (Preferably MBA/B.E./B.Tech.)
- Tableau\Power BI certification\SalesForce advance knowledge is a big plus.
- Migrations of the reports to the Power BI\Tableau using SQL/any other Data resource
- Developing visual reports, dashboards and KPI scorecards using Power BI\Tableau desktop.
- Strong knowledge of data warehousing
- Strong Knowledge of data modelling principles
- Strong Excel and SQL skills
Other Skills
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams. Ability to handle competing priorities in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
