Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the computer lab to ensure all hardware and software function correctly and are well-maintained.
- Cultivate a secure and encouraging environment that promotes effective learning and exploration.
- Maintain precise inventories of all hardware, software licenses, and digital educational resources.
- Assist students and faculty in effectively utilizing computers and various educational applications.
- Provide foundational IT training covering word processing, web navigation, and introductory programming concepts.
- Monitor student progress and deliver prompt technical support to address learning or technical challenges.
- Perform routine maintenance and diagnostic troubleshooting on computers, printers, and related IT equipment.
- Update software systems and enforce security protocols to protect lab assets and data integrity.
- Collaborate with administrative and teaching staff to configure digital tools for classroom use.
Requirements
- Hold a diploma or degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field.
- Possess relevant experience in IT support, computer lab management, or digital skills instruction.
