Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves engaging deeply with project requirements to design and develop tailored software solutions that meet specific client needs. The role includes coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, managing workflows to maintain progress, and troubleshooting challenges that arise during development. This position requires balancing multiple tasks, from coding and testing to documentation and collaboration, ensuring that the software delivered is both efficient and reliable. Continuous communication with team members and other departments is essential to drive project success and meet deadlines effectively.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify process improvements and implement best practices within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities to ensure seamless integration of software components.
- Monitor project progress and proactively address any risks or issues that may impact delivery.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP Project System (PS).
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP Portfolio and Project Management.
- Strong knowledge of project lifecycle management within SAP environments.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Experience in configuring and customizing SAP Project System modules to align with organizational needs.
- Familiarity with integration points between SAP Project System and other SAP modules.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Project System (PS).
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
