The Rubiscape frontend is the face of a
platform that Fortune 500 enterprises rely on for mission-critical decisions —
every pixel, interaction, and load-time matters. As a Frontend Engineer, you
will work within Rubiscape’s design-system-first culture to build studio UIs,
dashboard authoring tools, and AI Copilot interaction surfaces that are fast,
accessible, and visually precise. You will work in React 18 with TypeScript
strict mode, Tailwind CSS v3, Framer Motion, and Radix UI — a modern stack
where engineering craft and design sensibility are equally valued. This role is
ideal for engineers who obsess over Core Web Vitals as much as they obsess over
component API design.
· Implement
pixel-accurate, responsive UI components from Figma designs using React 18,
TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Radix UI primitives — maintaining strict
adherence to Rubiscape’s design token system.
· Build and
maintain reusable components in the shared design system: Buttons, Cards,
Modals (with focus-trap-react), data tables, form controls, and complex chart
wrappers.
· Optimise
frontend performance to hit Core Web Vitals targets (LCP < 2.5s, CLS <
0.1, FID < 100ms) using code splitting, lazy loading (React.lazy +
LazyLoadImage), and bundle analysis (vite-bundle-visualizer).
· Integrate
frontend components with backend APIs via TanStack Query — managing loading,
error, and cache-invalidation states cleanly and consistently.
· Implement
entrance and micro-interaction animations with Framer Motion, following
established motion design guidelines (easeOutExpo, 300–500ms durations).
· Write
Playwright end-to-end tests and Vitest unit tests for all new UI components,
contributing to the shared test suite and visual regression pipeline.
· Partner
with the design team in design reviews, flagging technical constraints early
and proposing feasible alternatives that preserve design intent.
· Experience
with data visualisation libraries (Apache ECharts, D3.js, Recharts) for
building interactive dashboard and chart authoring tools — directly applicable
to RubiSight.
· Prior work
with Framer Motion or GSAP for complex entrance animations and scroll-driven
interactions at an enterprise product scale.
· Familiarity
with design token pipelines (Style Dictionary, Theo) and contribution to shared
design systems in a multi-product organisation.
· Background
in building drag-and-drop or canvas-based editors (React DnD, react-flow)
relevant to RubiFlow’s visual ETL pipeline builder.
Rubiscape is India’s leading Decision
Intelligence Platform, unifying data engineering, BI, machine learning, and
agentic AI in a single governed platform. Built in Pune and trusted by Fortune
500 enterprises across BFSI, manufacturing, healthcare, and government. 8
international innovation patents. 10 Industry-Academia Labs & COEs. From BI
to AI — One Platform. Every Decision.
RequirementsRequirements
· 3+ years
of professional React development with TypeScript in a production environment.
· Deep
understanding of React performance patterns: memoisation (useMemo, useCallback,
React.memo), virtual DOM reconciliation, and profiler-driven optimisation.
· Strong CSS
fundamentals and hands-on Tailwind CSS experience — comfortable with responsive
design, CSS custom properties, and animation/transition utilities.
· Experience
implementing accessible UIs to WCAG 2.1 AA standard: ARIA roles, keyboard
navigation, focus management, and screen-reader compatibility.
· Familiarity
with Vite (or equivalent modern build tooling), module federation, and
tree-shaking best practices.
