Meet the Team 

The Product Go to Market Licensing Team delivers services, tools, platforms, and data that support Cisco software licensing. The team manages cloud-based licensing operations, including license migrations, transfers, and customer support through Cisco case-management channels. You will work with product owners, architects, tech leads, analysts, and global delivery teams across Cisco. The team works across Cisco to modernize business processes and develop in-house solutions. 

Your Impact 

• Develop software with a focus on simplification and user experience, partnering with product management, design, and engineering teams while following secure coding, privacy, and software development practices. 

• Work in a Scrum Agile environment to design and build applications, taking small to medium features from technical design through completion. 

• Write, debug, and review code; resolve development and production issues; and propose improvements and solutions to systemic problems. 

• Design, develop, and optimize in-app and role-based AI agents, including secure semantic layers, agent training features, and multi-agent protocols. 

• Lead implementation of agentic frameworks such as LangGraph and LangChain with large language models to support Ask/Respond capabilities using enterprise data sources. 

• Build and maintain natural language interaction (NLI) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems, and develop APIs for prompt engineering, user-input parsing, and intent identification. 

• Develop and maintain secure connectors, including APIs, SDKs, and database drivers, for Oracle, CockroachDB, Snowflake, and MongoDB. 

• Build and test individual AI agents, contribute to inter-agent communication protocols, and work with senior engineers to integrate agents with external tools through protocols such as MCP and A2A. 

• Keep assigned Jira stories current, understand and help plan the backlog, contribute to technical and user documentation, and work with business partners and engineering colleagues. 
  

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Bachelor's degree with 4 years of related experience, or a master's degree with 3 years of related experience. 

• 3+ years of expertise in Java and Spring with Full stack developer 

• 3+ years of experience across data platforms including MongoDB, Oracle, CockroachDB, Elasticsearch, and Snowflake. 

• Strong Python skills and familiarity with Spring Data. 

• Experience building scalable RESTful APIs with Spring Boot and LangGraph, with attention to secure API design, low latency, and performance optimization. 

• Experience integrating Elasticsearch and building Apache Kafka microservices. 

• 3+ years of experience with Kubernetes for deployment and orchestration. 

• Strong understanding of AI concepts and practical AI implementation, with proficiency in security and some exposure to API security protocols. 

• Thorough understanding of Agile and DevSecOps practices and toolsets. 

• Strong problem-solving skills; a positive, self-starting approach; and effective communication and time management. 

• Able to work independently with guidance, collaborate as a team member, and serve as a resource for colleagues with less experience in a fast-paced environment. 
  

Nice to have qualifications: 

• Familiarity with cloud services such as Oracle Cloud, AWS, and Azure. 

• Understanding of the licensing business. 

• A passion for innovation and a commitment to delivering strong results. 

• Certifications in Java, databases, cloud, AWS, or AI/ML are highly valued.
