- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance backend applications
- Create RESTful APIs and integrate with frontend components or third-party services
- Write clean, efficient, and reusable code adhering to best practices
- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality and standards
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues
- Collaborate with front-end developers, QA teams, and product managers to deliver end-to-end solutions
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Optimize application performance and scalability
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and incorporate best practices
- Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8 or higher)
- Experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC
- Knowledge of RESTful API development and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Basic understanding of containerization tools like Docker
- Familiarity with build tools such as Maven or Gradle
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus
- Knowledge of message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ is optional

Minimum 5+ years of professional backend development experience with Java and related technologies.
Day-to-Day Activities:- Developing new backend features and APIs
- Maintaining and improving existing applications
- Collaborating with frontend, QA, and product teams on requirements
- Performing code reviews and offering technical guidance
- Debugging and resolving production issues
- Writing unit and integration tests
- Participating in sprint planning and Agile ceremonies
- Documenting technical specifications and code
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience in Java backend development, preferably in a microservices environment
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Java Programmer) are a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks
