Support GA4 and GTM audits, implement and QA standard tracking, build Looker Studio/Tableau dashboards, run recurring performance reports, manage UTM governance, reconcile ecommerce revenue, and assist audience/CRM data tasks.
About the Role
You’ll work alongside senior analysts and the wider SEO and Analytics team to keep client tracking accurate,
reporting reliable, and insights actionable. Day to day, you’ll split your time between implementation and QA
work (GA4 audits, GTM audits, UTMs, conversion tags) and reporting work (Looker Studio dashboards, Tableau,
Google Sheets).
This is a hands on role with a clear growth path. You’ll learn server-side tracking, advanced GA4, and
measurement strategy on the job, with structured mentoring from senior analysts.
What You’ll Do
• Run GA4 audits and GTM audits for client accounts: validate event setup, check dataLayer integrity,
identify broken or duplicate tags, and document findings in clear audit reports.
• Build and maintain client dashboards in Looker Studio (primary) and Tableau, pulling from GA4, Shopify,
Klaviyo, and ad platforms (Meta, Google Ads, TikTok) via Supermetrics.
• Run weekly and monthly performance reports, surface trends, flag anomalies, and write up clear
takeaways for client and internal teams.
• Implement standard GA4 events (page_view, add_to_cart, purchase) and conversion tags via Google Tag
Manager.
• QA tracking using GTM Preview Mode, GA4 DebugView, and Tag Assistant. Catch broken events, duplicate
purchases, and dataLayer issues before clients do.
• Own UTM governance for client campaigns: build naming conventions, audit incoming traffic, and fix
misattribution (e.g. email showing as organic).
• Compare GA4 revenue against Shopify or BigCommerce admin totals, flag discrepancies, and document
findings for senior review.
• Support audience and CRM data work, pulling lists, validating segments, and helping the team keep client
data clean.
• Manage tasks and timelines in Asana, follow internal work request workflows, and contribute to
knowledge sharing (audit checklists, debugging guides, reporting templates).
What We’re Looking For
Must-haves (around 2 years experience)
• 1.5 to 2+ years in a digital marketing, analytics, or data role, ideally agency or eCommerce side.
• Comfortable navigating GA4: Traffic Acquisition, Engagement, Monetization reports, and basic
Explorations.
• Hands-on with GTM: can implement standard tags and triggers, and read a container without panic.
• Working knowledge of Meta Pixel, Google Ads conversion tags, and TikTok Pixel.
• Confident in Looker Studio (data sources, calculated fields, basic blending) and Google Sheets (pivot
tables, lookups).
• Basic Tableau experience is enough. Looker Studio will be your primary reporting tool.
• Solid grasp of UTM parameters, campaign tagging, and why attribution gets messy.
• Familiar with Asana or a similar project management tool for managing work requests and deadlines.
• Clear written communication. Can summarise a report’s takeaways in 3 bullet points, not 3 paragraphs.
