Role Overview
We are seeking a creative, analytical, and results-driven professional to lead our Social Media, Customer Loyalty, and Online Sales functions. The ideal candidate will combine strong marketing creativity with commercial acumen, helping drive customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and online revenue growth across multiple African markets.
Key Responsibilities
### Social Media & Digital Marketing
• Develop and execute social media strategies across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, and other relevant platforms.
• Create engaging content, campaigns, and promotional activities to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
• Manage content calendars and coordinate with internal teams and external agencies.
• Monitor campaign performance and optimize based on analytics and customer insights.
### Customer Loyalty & Retention
• Design and implement customer loyalty, referral, and retention programs.
• Develop customer engagement initiatives to increase repeat business and improve customer lifetime value.
• Analyze customer behavior and recommend strategies to improve satisfaction and retention.
### Online Sales & Lead Generation
• Drive online customer acquisition and conversion through digital channels.
• Optimize customer journeys, online sales funnels, and digital onboarding processes.
• Work closely with sales and operations teams to improve lead conversion and revenue generation.
### Marketing & Creative Development
• Design marketing materials, digital creatives, presentations, and promotional campaigns.
• Coordinate branding and communication activities to ensure consistent messaging.
• Manage relationships with creative agencies, media partners, and digital marketing vendors.
### Reporting & Analytics
• Track and report key KPIs including customer acquisition, engagement, conversion, retention, and online sales performance.
• Build and maintain Excel-based models, dashboards, and business reports.
• Use data-driven insights to improve marketing effectiveness and ROI.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Design, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, customer loyalty, or online sales.
• Background in advertising agencies, creative agencies, digital marketing firms, fintech, telecom, or consumer-focused businesses preferred.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital marketing tools, and customer engagement strategies.
• Excellent spoken and written English with strong copywriting and communication skills.
• Strong design capabilities with experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or similar creative tools.
• Advanced Excel skills including financial modeling, dashboards, reporting, and data analysis.
• Experience with CRM systems, digital analytics, and customer segmentation is an advantage.
• Highly organized, creative, analytical, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
