Job Summary
Synechron is seeking an experienced .NET Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of mission-critical enterprise applications. This role involves creating scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions that align with organizational objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable systems, ensure security compliance, and drive continuous improvement, contributing to the organization’s growth and operational excellence.

Software Requirements

  • Required:

    • Extensive experience with .NET Framework and .NET Core (latest stable versions), including C# programming

    • Strong proficiency in SQL Server, including stored procedures, indexing, and database optimization

    • Knowledge of middleware technologies such as Kafka, EMS, Solace, or similar

    • Familiarity with development environments such as Visual Studio, Git, and Azure DevOps or Jenkins for CI/CD

    • Understanding of secure coding practices, encryption, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and data security standards

  • Preferred:

    • Experience with cloud deployment platforms such as AWS or Azure

    • Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes)

    • Familiarity with TDD (test-driven development) and profiling tools such as Visual Studio Profiler or JetBrains dotTrace

Overall Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and deploy scalable and secure enterprise applications using .NET technologies.

  • Translate business requirements into technical designs, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards.

  • Write clean, efficient, well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.

  • Conduct system and code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and optimize system performance.

  • Design and implement system integrations, APIs, and middleware solutions to support enterprise processes.

  • Support automation of deployment, configuration, and operational workflows within CI/CD pipelines.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA, operations, and security teams to ensure system robustness and compliance.

  • Stay current with technology trends, industry standards, and security protocols, recommending improvements.

Technical Skills (By Category)

  • Programming Languages:
    Required: C# (.NET Framework/.NET Core)
    Preferred: Additional languages like JavaScript, VB.NET, or F#

  • Databases & Data Management:
    SQL Server, including stored procedures and performance tuning; experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB is a plus

  • Cloud Technologies:
    Azure, AWS, or GCP for deployment, scalability, and security

  • Frameworks & Libraries:
    .NET Core, Entity Framework, LINQ, REST API development, middleware (Kafka, Solace, EMS)

  • Development & DevOps Tools:

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in enterprise application development using .NET technologies.

  • Proven experience designing and delivering large-scale, highly available systems.

  • Demonstrated success integrating middleware solutions like Kafka, EMS, or Solace.

  • Strong background in system architecture, security standards, and performance optimization.

  • Industry experience in finance, banking, or large enterprise environments is a strong advantage; alternative sectors considered.

Day-to-Day Activities

  • Develop, optimize, and deploy enterprise applications and middleware solutions.

  • Analyze system requirements, translate into technical specifications, and implement robust solutions.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical and performance issues efficiently.

  • Conduct code reviews, automate build and deployment processes, and ensure adherence to security standards.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams on project planning, implementation, and testing.

  • Maintain detailed documentation of system architecture, processes, and operational procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

  • Proven experience in enterprise-grade application development with .NET, middleware, and cloud deployment.

  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer, Security, or Certification in enterprise security practices are advantageous.

  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on industry trends and best practices.
