NICE Actimize is currently NICE Actimize is currently seeking a dynamic individual with high energy and drive to join our team as a Portfolio Pre-Sales Engineer.
As an invaluable member of the sales team, our Pre-Sales Engineers are active participants at every stage of a new business opportunity. The Actimize Pre-Sales Engineer is responsible for upkeeping of the latest innovative product demos and presenting Actimize technology infrastructure to prospects and customers. To accomplish this, the Pre-Sales Engineer must have a strong desire to leverage their technical and/or sales skills, including the ability to configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value. You will partner with our sales team to lead technical aspect of Pre-Sales activities including configuring customized demo setup, preparing workshop materials and performing solution Proof of Concept to prospective clients.
Function: Provide technical support for the global sales engineering team.
Business Support: Provide technology support for all infrastructure builds of demo and POV environments needed to support all global sales campaigns. This role will expand the existing team of portfolio sales engineers and augment product knowledge provided by regional portfolio Pre-Sales.

- Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and challenges, and effectively communicating how our data science solutions can address them.
- Solution Demonstration: Develop and deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations that highlight the value of our analytics and data science offerings.
- Proposal Development: Collaborate with the sales team to create tailored proposals that include data-driven insights and analytics solutions aligned with client goals.
- Technical Expertise: Provide deep technical knowledge in data analytics, machine learning algorithms, and statistical techniques to inform clients and answer technical questions.
- Market Analysis: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to effectively position our solutions in the marketplace.
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, engineers, and product management teams.
- Training and Support: Assist in training Product Portfolio Pre-Sales, Sales and Sales Overlay teams on analytics concepts, tools, and best practices to enhance their understanding and usage of our solutions.
- Feedback Loop: Gather and communicate client feedback to product teams for continuous improvement of our analytics solutions.
Have you got what it takes?
- Experience of 5+ yrs as a technical sales engineer in a cloud computing environment or similar customer-facing or engineering experience
- Experience with infrastructure architecture including storage, compute, database, and cloud networking
- Ability to work independently and confidently with web-based application using HTML, XML, XSL, JavaScript
- Understand and analyze large sets of data using Excel and SQL
- Experience with cloud computing, ideally with AWS
- Proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with the ability to quickly resolve technical challenges
- Experience in managing Proof of Concepts and creating solution demonstrations
- Prior Actimize solution experience is a plus but not required
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
