Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong domain expertise in KYC (Know Your Customer), AML (Anti-Money Laundering), and Sanctions screening. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in process mapping, optimization, and automation, and will play a key role in bridging business needs with technology solutions.

This role requires someone who can translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into actionable deliverables, while also guiding development teams from a process automation perspective.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis & Documentation

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across KYC, AML, and Sanctions processes.
• Develop high-quality documentation including: 
  • Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
  • Functional Requirements Documents (FRD)
  • User Stories and Use Cases
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure requirements are clear, complete, and aligned with business goals.

Process Mapping & Optimization

• Lead process discovery, mapping (As-Is and To-Be), and optimization initiatives.
• Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements through automation or redesign.
• Use tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or BPM tools for process modeling.

Automation & Solutioning

• Collaborate with technology teams to implement process automation solutions.
• Provide functional guidance to developers on: 
  • Workflow automation
  • RPA use cases
  • Business rules and decision logic
• Ensure business processes are effectively translated into scalable automation solutions.

Stakeholder Management

• Work closely with business users, compliance teams, and technology stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, and solution walkthroughs.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and leadership.

Testing & UAT

• Prepare UAT strategy, test scenarios, and test cases.
• Support and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
