Codebase is a young software services company with a great pool of tech-savvy developers. We started in the spring of 2018, and have been growing aggressively. We are located in Pune, India, and serve software product companies across the globe; focusing on enterprise SaaS, eCommerce, cloud, and application development.
We are hiring a Product Growth Engineer to make the product itself the primary driver of adoption, expansion, and revenue.
You will build the experiences that turn a new user into an active user — and an active user into a customer. This role sits at the intersection of product, engineering, and growth strategy. You will ship changes continuously, measure real behavior, and iterate quickly based on what actually works.
This is not a feature factory role. Your work directly impacts activation, retention, and monetization.
Key Responsibilities:- Define activation in concrete behavioral terms and align teams around a shared definition of customer success.
- Analyze funnels to identify where users hesitate, abandon workflows, or fail to reach value.
- Evaluate experiment results and translate them into clear product decisions.
- Identify patterns that predict retention, expansion, and long-term customer value.
- Partner with product and engineering to prioritize work based on measurable impact.
- Create visibility into product performance so leaders understand what is working and why.
- Continuously refine metrics so the team measures outcomes instead of activity.
- Experience in product analytics, growth analytics, and/or behavioral data analysis.
- Strong ability to turn ambiguous questions into measurable analyses.
- Expert at influencing decisions through storytelling, evidence and reasoning.
- Ability to communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Expert with analytics tools such as Amplitude (preferred), Mixpanel, Pendo, or similar platforms.
- Familiarity with feature flag software such as Split/Harness, LaunchDarkly, Growthbook.
