Join Our Growing Accounting Team in India:

It's an exciting time to join our rapidly expanding Accounting team in India, where you'll have ample professional growth and development opportunities. We are looking for a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team.

About the Role:

You will work cross-functionally and within the Accounting team to complete the monthly close cycle. This is an excellent opportunity to scale processes for growth, transitioning from manual to automated workflows. You'll also gain experience reviewing financial metrics, analyzing data, and developing forecasts.

You will report to our US-based Senior Accounting Manager as part of our global Accounting organization. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely from a home office in India.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and flux analyses at month-end close in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
  • Detect and resolve data issues and reconciliation gaps.
  • Perform various account analyses under the guidance of the Accounting Manager.
  • Support annual audit requirements for specific areas of responsibility.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and business owners, to gather supporting documentation.
  • Ensure SOX control performance and maintain documentation.
  • Perform ad hoc projects as assigned.

Required Education, Experience & Skills:

  • At least 5 years of accounting experience (U.S. GAAP experience is a plus).
  • Fluent proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
  • Experience working for a U.S. publicly traded company is a plus.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Familiarity with month-end closing processes.
  • Experience with NetSuite or other large ERP systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyze large datasets.
  • You possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of accounting cycles.
