Location: Pune
We
are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Educational Book Graphic
Designer to design engaging, age-appropriate and
learner-friendly textbooks, student handbooks, teacher handbooks and
learning materials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design book
layouts, page templates, illustrations, icons, diagrams and infographics.
- Translate educational
content into clear, engaging and visually meaningful learning
experiences.
- Create age-appropriate
designs for different grades, subjects and learning contexts.
- Work closely with
curriculum and content teams to align visuals with learning
objectives and activities.
- Maintain consistency
in layout, typography, illustrations, colours and visual language.
- Develop print-ready
and digital-ready files and incorporate review feedback
- Support design of multilingual
educational materials where required.
RequirementsMinimum Experience:
- Degree/Diploma
in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts or a related
field.
- 3+ years of experience in educational
publishing, book design or learning materials.
- Proficiency in Adobe
InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop or equivalent tools.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding
of layout, typography, visual hierarchy and information design.
- Ability to
create child-friendly, accessible and engaging visuals.
- Strong attention to
detail, creativity and ability to work within timelines.
- Good collaboration
skills and ability to work with content and curriculum teams.
Preferred: Experience in school textbooks,
vocational/experiential learning materials, children's publications or
multilingual educational content.
