The role involves overseeing the DelEx program portfolio, aligning priorities with objectives, impacts, and outcomes through collaboration with leadership. As a Senior Program Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Executing programs in alignment with the DelEx portfolio objectives.
- Facilitating cross-functional collaboration among Global Services teams while fostering effective partnerships with GSO and program stakeholders across Akamai.
- Developing thorough program plans, incorporating work breakdown structures, communication strategies, risk management, and sharing program status, actions, risks with stakeholders effectively.
- Collaborating with Leadership and DelEx Team to assess impact and outcomes effectively.
- Adopting best-practice guidelines to influence and implement continuous improvements to the program delivery processes
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 5 -8 years of relevant experience in program management in a cross functional team and a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- Have good interpersonal and organizational skills with an ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders and analytical skills
- Be able to adapt quickly and respond to changing priorities in a dynamic environment
- Be able to influence and motivate others with perseverance to handle stimulating business situations
- Demonstrate a passion for excellence through sound judgment, solid decision making and contingency planning
