HackerRank’s coding challenge library is the foundation of how companies identify top technical talent. As a Technical Program Manager, you’ll lead strategic programs that expand our skills coverage, raise content quality and drive adoption among customers.
You’ll work closely with engineering, product and design teams while managing a global network of subject matter experts. You’ll also partner directly with customers to refine workflows and deliver assessments that stay relevant, fair, and impactful for developers and hiring teams worldwide.
What you’ll do- Build and manage a global network of experts to create and review coding challenges.
- Partner with engineering, product, and design to develop tools that scale content delivery and raise quality.
- Expand our content library across core skills and emerging tech.
- Collaborate with customers to deliver tailored content that drives adoption and impact.
- Streamline creation and review workflows using data, automation, and feedback.
- Ensure every piece of content meets high standards of fairness, validity, and relevance.
- You blend technical depth with program leadership to help teams move fast and deliver impact.
- Have 5+ years leading complex programs in technical environments.
- Strong foundation across frontend, backend, cloud, and DevOps - from React and JavaScript to AWS, Docker, and CI/CD.
- At least 2 years working directly with customers to solve real-world problems.
- Comfortable using tools like GitHub, Linear, Slack, and JIRA to keep teams aligned and moving.
- Experience working with open-source communities.
- Contributions to developer ecosystems.
- You’re a builder at heart who loves creating scalable systems from scratch.
- You navigate complex technical programs with ease, aligning stakeholders across engineering and leadership.
- You care deeply about technology, developer communities, and making hiring better for everyone involved.
