PTC CoE PLM Upgrade Technical Lead
The PTC Center of Excellent PLM Upgrades team is chartered to execute upgrade program of PTC PLM Products. If you are highly organized, self-motivated, action-oriented and enjoy interacting and communicating with people at all levels, we want to speak with you about a position within our high performing Center of Excellence team.
This individual contributor role reports to the CoE PLM Upgrades Lead and is responsible for driving the planning and execution for successful customer upgrades of PLM products. Desired outcomes include managing different phases of the PLM upgrade projects, from request phase till hypercare, managing the project members, while ensuring on time and quality delivery.
A Day in the Life:
- Apply traditional project management framework/methodology, resourcefulness, organizational and communication skills to execute upon and manage PLM Upgrade projects.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders’ expectations to ensure scope adherence and objective attainment.
- Manage the project work assigned to the team of upgrade engineer delivering upgrades
- Provide Technical Guidance to unblock challenges and issues during Upgrade execution
- Collaborate with Internal teams to make decisions on upgrade paths and snowflakes
- Work with cross functional and peer groups to develop trusted relationships that deliver strong interlocks, collaboration and seamless operational experiences.
- Manage accurate, timely project communication between the project team members and other key stakeholders.
- Define and execute working with one of many PTC Partners
- Follow up on various Project Milestones from contracting thru project closure
Preferred Skills:
- 4+ years of project management experience
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, is action oriented and comfortable taking calculated risks, is committed to driving quality results and is adept at problem solving
- Advanced organizational, interpersonal, conflict resolution and communication skills which can be comfortably applied across management levels.
- Possesses keen knowledge of project management methodology (PMI) and supporting tools which can be applied across multiple priorities or projects
- Self-starter, inquisitive and able to quickly understand the big picture, new processes, and systems
- Based on project needs, availability to work night and weekends
- Having experience with Managing Upgrade projects on Cloud hosted environments, preferably PTC Windchill
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of related experience
