Lead automation testing using UFT and Playwright: create, execute, and maintain automated scripts; perform regression testing; log and track defects; analyze results and report to stakeholders; improve automation framework and collaborate with development and QA teams.
Key Responsibilities: • Mandatory: Proven 8+ years of experience as an Automation Tester with a focus on Playwright & UFT. • Strong knowledge of UFT, including test script creation, execution, and maintenance. • Develop and execute automated test scripts using Playwright UFT. • Collaborate with the development and QA teams to understand the application functionality and design test cases. • Identify, document, and track bugs using bug tracking tools. • Maintain and update existing automated test scripts to accommodate new features and changes in the application. • Perform regression testing to ensure that new code changes do not adversely affect the existing functionalities. • Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders. • Participate in test planning, test case design, and test execution reviews. • Continuously improve the automation framework and processes to enhance test efficiency and coverage. • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in test automation. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. • Proficiency in VBScript for UFT test scripting. • Experience with test management and bug tracking tools preferred Azure DevOps otherwise JIRA, ALM. • Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Strong communication and collaboration skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with other test automation tools (e.g. Playwright). • Knowledge of continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes and tools. • Certification in UFT or related technologies.
