Workload Sustainability

Nexthink takes a practical and supportive approach to work‑life balance. The company encourages people to take regular time off and create healthy routines so they can stay energised and do their best work over time.

Employees are guided by a clear Paid Time Off (PTO) structure, which makes it easier to plan breaks in advance. Everyone is encouraged to take at least two consecutive weeks of vacation each year, helping them fully disconnect and recharge. This structure also provides clarity on how to request shorter or longer periods of time off, so workloads can be managed smoothly.

We also introduced Unlimited PTO, which is designed to give employees extra flexibility once they’ve used the paid vacation days included in their contract. It’s meant to help people take the time they need — for rest, personal matters, or life events — without being limited by a fixed number of days, as long as it works for the team and the business.

In addition to formal policies, many of Nexthink’s offices offer region‑specific perks that contribute to balance during the workday. These can include things like medical insurance, pension contributions, commuting reimbursement, wellness or fitness allowances, and fruit, snacks, and drinks in the office. Our offices are also modern, bright, built with sustainable materials, filled with plants, and feature relaxation areas, game zones (ping‑pong, foosball, board and video games), yoga classes, and seasonal fun activities — all helping employees unwind, connect, and recharge in simple, enjoyable ways.

Flexibility Options

Nexthink uses a hybrid working model that balances flexibility with the benefits of in‑person connection in the office (3 days per week). The idea is simple: remote work offers focus and autonomy, while time spent together in the office helps people collaborate, learn from each other, and feel part of a team.
