- Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer with a strong focus on C# and React to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with working on cloud-hosted APIs, backend services and web application technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both existing front-end and back-end components as well creating new applications and APIs hosted in Azure. You will play a critical role in ensuring the performance, reliability, and quality of our software products at the bank as well as building new application and features.

- Primary Responsibilities:
- Back-End Development: Developing server-side logic using .NET technologies, creating REST APIs, and integrating with databases.
- Front-End Development: Building rich user interfaces using React 18+ and ensuring a stable, performant and responsive user experience.
- Full Stack Integration: Ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end components.
- Code Quality: Writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards utilizing AI coding assistants.
- Testing: Create and expand unit and integration tests for both frontend and backend code.
- Continuous Improvement: Staying update to date with the latest industry trends and technologies with a growth mindset of continuously improving skills and knowledge.
- Deployments: ensure stability through frequent and automated deployments.
- Production stability: Assist with L3 production support / issue investigation and remediation.
- Primary Skills
- React / TypeScript: Strong experience with 18+ and its core principles, including state management, hooks, and component lifecycle. Experience with Vite, TanStack and Tailwind CSS
- C# .NET: Solid understanding of .NET Core (8+), including ASP.Net Core, Signal R, EF Core and concurrency via multithreading and async/await patterns.
- Azure: Experience creating / deploying / troubleshooting App Services such Web Apps and Functions (AZ Signal R nice to have).
- Relational Database Knowledge: Experience with SQL databases, such as SQL Server or Sybase.
- Unit Testing: TDD driven development with XUnit, NUnit and/or Jest/Vitest.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the ability to independently investigate/evaluate new technologies / libraries.
General Requirements:
- Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and tools.
- Proficiency in analysing, debugging, and solving technical issues.
- Team player with excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders.
- Secondary skills
- Advance experience with relational databases such as Oracle, Sybase and SQL Server with the ability to design and optimize/tune while maintaining stability / data consistency.
- AI experience with machine learning, NLP, model training, Copilot, MCP servers … etc.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab and Team City.
- Experience with deployments via Terraform and GitLab pipelines.
- Bachelors or Master’s Degree in relevant field.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ready to work from office (3 days/week)
