Job Purpose:
To develop cost-effective RO designs for all variants, including overseeing estimating, budgeting, development/ improvement of the Civil, Electrical & Mechanical designs for the Retail Outlet facilities and new Projects viz. CNG/ EV/ Door 2 Door facilities/ Nonfuel Retail. Bench marking of the designs with respect to the best in the industry in domestic and international scenarios. Alignment of the designs wrt the statutory regulations viz. Petroleum Rules/ OISD/ PNGRB & BIS Standards. Guiding the field teams on all applicable engineering standards and overlooking the implementation of the laid down standards in the field.

• Develop Standard RO formats as per business requirement.
• Validation of the site-specific layout for the new Ros.
• Standardisation of the fitment of the new formats in the new/ Existing layouts

2. Development of Standard Designs
• Preparation of standard Drawings for RO Facilities
• Development of site-specific drawings for CODO/ COCO Projects.
• Review/ Modifications of the Drawings in line with the evolving standards BIS/ PNGRB/ OISD/ Petroleum Rules/ NH etc.
3. Development of Engineering Specifications / Bill of Quantities/
• Development/ Modification of Engineering specifications/ standards in line with the evolving standards viz. BIS/ Petroleum Rules/ SMPV Rules/ OISD/ NH/ PNGRB etc.
• Development of standard Bill of Quantities (BOQ// Material Take off (MTOs)
• Development of Site-Specific Bill of Quantities/ MTPs for CODO/ COCO Projects.
• Development of RFPs for bought out items
• Fuelling Systems (Dispensing Units/ STPs/ Tanks/ Pipelines)
• Infra (Canopies/ Branding etc.)
• Utilities (N2 Tyre Inflator/ Air Compressor/ DG Sets/ UPS/ PDBs)
• Technical Bid Evaluations of the RFPs
• Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for equipment purchased.
• Review & Clearance of the TPI Reports
4. Budgeting & Normative Cost Development
• Rate Analysis for standard construction Items.
• Budgeting for CODO/ COCO Sites
• Periodic Review of Normative costs. for DODO Retail outlets.
5. Value Engineering
• Periodic Review of the material/ equipment/ specifications in line with the new construction practises and alternate materials.
• Optimisation of the area wise costs in line with the locally available construction material and engineering practises.
• Bench marking the equipment specs and construction specifications in line with the best in the industry locally and globally.
6. Development of SOPs.
• Development of new SOPs for all identified processes.
• Review and modification of the SOPs in line with the compliance. .
