Owns quality engineering for carrier-grade optical networking products. Responsibilities include creating test plans, validating system features and customer scenarios, developing manual and automated test scripts, maintaining test frameworks, analyzing failures and defects, and reporting quality assessments. The role requires testing SONET, SDH, OTN, DWDM, ROADM, optical amplifiers, FCAPS, provisioning, configuration, and protection schemes using test equipment and scripting languages.

Lead end-to-end ECAD layouts for advanced optical L1 cards and pluggable products. Assess layout feasibility with mechanical, thermal, signal integrity, and electrical architects; coordinate manufacturing design-for-excellence requirements; mentor ECAD team members; maintain layout processes and checklists; and contribute to process improvements.

Leads complex optical transport network projects from solution design through integration, testing, commissioning, validation, and customer handover. Designs and troubleshoots Nokia and Infinera systems using OTN, DWDM, ROADM, Ethernet over Optical, and OLS technologies. Produces technical designs and procedures, performs root-cause analysis, coordinates cross-functional stakeholders, and provides technical leadership during customer reviews, audits, and acceptance activities.

Designs and develops Linux-based embedded software architectures for high-performance real-time systems. Leads requirements analysis, coding, integration, debugging, testing, and kernel optimization. Develops Linux kernel solutions, device drivers, and Board Support Packages for RISC processors and ARM environments. Manages configuration using ClearCase and ClearQuest, collaborates with cross-functional teams and customers, and supports wireless protocol and telecommunications initiatives.

Design, validate and optimize enterprise WAN solutions (especially Nokia Nuage/SD-WAN). Coordinate with service providers, stakeholders and security teams, produce HLD/LLD, review supplier proposals, ensure deployability, supportability and post-deployment quality.

Lead design and governance of secure, scalable multi-cloud and hybrid architectures. Define reference patterns, drive cloud migrations, implement IaC and observability, ensure security/compliance and operational excellence, and guide delivery teams on resiliency, cost optimization, and CI/CD enablement.

Independently develops robust UI features for a cloud-native network management platform, focusing on architecture, performance, secure coding, and service integration. Owns UI test automation and CI/CD using Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and related tools. Uses Agentic AI in development, coaches junior engineers, and contributes to modern web technologies including JavaScript, React, and Node.js.

Lead architecture and development of cloud-native, containerized microservices. Build event-driven backends, gRPC/REST APIs, and telemetry pipelines using graph and time-series databases. Integrate AI/ML models into data pipelines and deploy applications with Docker and Kubernetes.

Lead architecture and development of agentic AI solutions for optical networks: design agent orchestration, memory, tool integration, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop workflows; convert processes into autonomous/semi-autonomous automation; document designs and best practices for scalable delivery.

Design, implement, and optimize scalable WAN, LAN, lab, and Campus WiFi network architectures. Ensure high availability and performance, architect and troubleshoot advanced routing (BGP, OSPF, MPLS), deploy VLANs and switching, manage Aruba WiFi and Nokia SR-series routers, build secure lab environments, document designs, and enforce network standards and best practices.
