The Principal Software Engineer will lead Kaseya's Identity and API strategy, ensuring architectural integrity and collaboration across teams. Responsibilities include designing IAM systems, developing technical strategies, mentoring engineers, and overseeing system reliability.

Leads the strategy, architecture, and execution of Kaseya’s unified data, API, AI, and runtime platform ecosystem. Builds scalable, reliable, cloud-native capabilities; drives platform modernization, engineering culture, technical and commercial KPIs, and cross-functional alignment. The role manages global engineering teams and transforms customer data, telemetry, and AI/ML into product differentiation, improved experiences, automation, and new revenue opportunities.

Provides organization-wide technical leadership for large-scale distributed systems and platform architectures. Defines long-term technical strategy, drives scalability, reliability, modernization, observability, AI-assisted development, and engineering productivity across teams. Partners with engineering, product, and business leaders on roadmaps and architecture decisions, leads cross-team initiatives, reduces technical debt, advances operational maturity, mentors senior engineers, and supports technical due diligence.

Build and maintain large-scale automated testing frameworks for endpoint agents and device management workflows across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms. Develop functional, integration, regression, performance, resiliency, and system-level tests; validate OS integrations, security, stability, and recovery scenarios; troubleshoot defects; analyze logs and telemetry; reproduce customer issues; and use AI-assisted tools to expand test coverage and automation quality.

Build and maintain automated testing frameworks for endpoint management agents across Windows, macOS, Linux, and mobile platforms. Develop functional, integration, regression, performance, resiliency, and system-level tests for device management workflows, OS integrations, recovery scenarios, and security capabilities. Troubleshoot complex defects, analyze logs and telemetry, reproduce customer issues, partner on root-cause analysis, and use AI-assisted development tools to expand test coverage and improve engineering productivity.

Build and maintain large-scale automated testing frameworks, libraries, infrastructure, and test suites for enterprise SaaS applications, APIs, services, and distributed systems. Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot application and production issues, validate AI-generated code and tests, improve coverage and reliability, and collaborate with engineering, DevOps, product, and QA teams. The role requires independently delivering extensive automation coverage and supporting issue reproduction outside standard hours when needed.
