The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering software solutions, ensuring compliance with standards and managing the software development life cycle.

Collaborates with product and platform teams, provides engineering guidance, promotes reliability throughout development, and mentors junior SREs. The role targets early-career candidates with one to two years of related experience preferred.

Lead architecture and delivery of scalable, resilient cloud-native payment platforms. Own system design, microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, performance, observability, and security. Lead full-stack development (Java/Spring Boot, Angular), mentor engineers, enforce engineering standards, drive CI/CD/DevSecOps, and integrate AI capabilities for product enhancements.

Owns the strategy and roadmap for generative AI and agentic capabilities within Mastercard’s Payment Reconciliation Intelligence products. Responsibilities include defining technical requirements, prioritizing backlogs, managing product delivery, partnering with engineering and data science teams, leading research and experimentation, supporting customer enablement, aligning stakeholders, and mentoring junior product managers.
