Responsibilities include vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, firmware reverse engineering, secure boot and root-of-trust validation, OS hardening, patch and update testing, CVE monitoring, attack simulation, compliance alignment, and technical reporting. The role also mentors junior engineers, coordinates remediation with engineering and compliance teams, and maintains a secure testing laboratory.
